Documents Required for a Salaried Personal Loan in India
22 April 20263 min readMoney Star Editorial
Most lenders ask for identity proof (PAN is mandatory), address proof (Aadhaar, passport or utility bill), and income proof.
Salaried applicants typically submit the last three months' salary slips and six months' bank statements showing salary credits. Some banks accept only digital statements downloaded from net banking.
Employment proof may include an offer letter, employee ID or HR email verification. Self-employed applicants substitute GST returns, ITR and business bank statements.
